Everyday Life

Nothing too exciting has been going on around here besides the house buying business. Other than that, Hadleigh started crawling last Thursday (finally at 8 1/2 months old). Her two front teeth are coming in on top too. Camille is just busy being a good big sister, making Hadleigh laugh and sharing toys with her...sometimes...and sometimes taking them away from her. :)

With that, I leave you with some pictures of our two little princesses.

Sitting together in the rocking chair

Camille wanted to help feed Hadleigh, and she actually did a really good job.

Here are the girls today. Yes, it's a pajama day because they are both sick. It's been a rainy, sick kid kind of week, so I'm glad tomorrow is Friday.

Buying a House

Yes, you read that right. We are buying a house! It's nothing spectacular, but it will work well for us. It is a little brick ranch house on half an acre. It has a full basement and some apple trees. It's a quiet neighborhood with lots of old people. It could use some updating, which we plan to do to make it our own and to make it easier to sell when the time comes. We don't plan on staying there forever, or really in Ohio forever either. We move next month.

Enjoy the pictures!

Here's the front.

Here's our cool Florida room, whatever that means.

Family room in the basement

Mike says this is the boy's bathroom since it's blue. It won't be that way for long.

Hard wood floors in the bedrooms (and dining room too)!

Our kitchen (the wallpaper and yellow tile are going)

Already Embarrassing

...apparently that's what I am. Yesterday we were eating bagels topped with peanut butter and bananas for lunch. Camille asked me to sing a song about bagels. Initially I told her that I don't know any songs about bagels. Then, a couple minutes later, I started to make up a song about bagels and dance around the kitchen while singing it. Here's what happened...

Camille: "What are you doing Mommy?"
Me: "I'm just being silly."
Camille: "Don't be silly EVER again!"

Well, there you have it. Camille went from three to thirteen years old over night. I'm embarrassing her already.

I honestly thought it was pretty funny though. I laughed pretty hard.

New Calling

So, I am a lame-o and haven't posted since August. I am hoping to get caught up soon. For now, however, I could use some help. In August I got called to be the Senior (10 & 11 yr old) Activity Day leader in my ward. Does anyone have any good ideas for these twice a month activities? Thanks!
