A month ago (I know, these are old...Sorry they weren't posted sooner.) things were rather quiet around our place, so I went to find Camille and see what she was up to. I found her laying in the guest bed with a Book of Mormon. She said, "I'm reading scriptures." I guess we are doing something right. :)

Hadleigh's Birth
I know a lot of you have been waiting to read Hadleigh's birth story. However, I just decided that I don't want to post it for the whole world to read. I definitely want to share it with people, but I don't think our blog is the right way for me to do that. Here's why...I had an emergency c-section after 22 hours of labor. I really had my heart set on having a VBAC and even though I know that the c-section was the right thing to do (for Hadleigh's sake), I was completely unprepared to have another c-section. And honestly, it was a bit traumatic for me. So for now, as I try to heal emotionally, I'm not sharing anymore details than that on our blog.

Two Weeks Old!
Hadleigh is two weeks old today! Sorry this isn't the greatest picture, but she has basically been sleeping all day. That's all they do at this point, right?
Height: 20 1/2 inches (75th percentile)
Weight: 7 lbs 14 oz (50th percentile...and up 6 oz since birth!)
Head Circumference: 36 cm (80th percentile)
Hadleigh is such a sweet, easy baby. I was a little nervous about taking care of two kids (mostly since Camille was a difficult baby), but so far so good. We are so happy to have her in our family!
P.S. Her birth story is coming soon. I've slowly been typing it up over the last two weeks. It should finally be up in the next day or so.

More Pictures of Hadleigh
If you want to see some more/better pictures of Hadleigh, here's how. Go to bellababyphotography.com. Click on View Photos. The password is 0202hadleigh (Those are zeroes. And no caps or spaces). These are some pictures a photographer took in the hospital. Enjoy!
