So, I am a lame-o and haven't posted since August. I am hoping to get caught up soon. For now, however, I could use some help. In August I got called to be the Senior (10 & 11 yr old) Activity Day leader in my ward. Does anyone have any good ideas for these twice a month activities? Thanks!

Make bracelets, necklaces, or hair clips, girls that age love doing stuff like that. I know in our ward they had a photographer in the ward come and take pictures (and helped the girls learn how to take pictures too) then at the next activity they decorated picture frames.
Oh fun!!!! You'll be a great leader, and girls that age are fun to work with! I just got released from working with the Beehives, and it was a blast! Our girls loved all the stuff Emily said--I love the picture idea--and they also loved going on nature walks or easier hikes, campfires and smores/ roasted starbursts pretty much year-round, and even random dress-up/ photoshoot activities when we were desperate for last minute ideas =) You'll be awesome!
simple crafts, hair accessories, tying fleece quilts for the hospital, making dinner for someone who just had a baby, call me sometime we can chat about ideas. We miss you guys so much... we just had a smelly family move in across the hall. Everytime we walk outside kanani yells... Ewe... it smells like poo poo out here mom! Ughh... We miss you!!
