Here's what I know about Mike's family. Matt is out of the country for a school trip. He actually left yesterday, earlier in the day. Bob, Marsha, and James are all alive and well. Their house is in pretty bad shape, although it is still standing. I was told that their garage is basically gone, all of the windows are busted out on their house and cars, and their are holes in the walls of their home. Today they had heavy rains, and the house flooded. They are staying in a "homeless shelter" that has been set up at the college.
Please keep Mike's family and everyone else effected by the tornado in Joplin (because a lot of people are much worse off) in your prayers.

Oh wow! I'm so sorry! I will definitely include Joplin in my prayers. I'm glad to hear everyone is safe though!!
Oh, I am so glad to hear that they are okay! We have been really worried about you guys since we heard about the tornado. We will defintely keep them in our prayers too!
1st--When we heard about the tornado in Joplin we immediately thought of Mike's family. I remembered you guys had a blog I'd seen once or twice and thought I'd see if you said anything about it. Sooo glad they are okay but so sorry to hear about their house.
2nd--I was sorry to hear you didn't get the VBAC you wanted but I think you are amazing and brave for trying (especially through such a long labor). I am just so glad both you and little Hadleigh made it through okay.
3rd--Your little girls are adorable.
