It's a Miracle!

This is what our little princess is doing right now...

What is so amazing about her sleeping? Well, she put herself down for a nap. That's right. I was cooking and Mike was on the phone. Then we realized Camille wasn't around. Mike went to find her upstairs and found her asleep in bed.

This is a miracle. We have been battling naps lately. In fact, this may mean she will stay up until midnight, but I am still amazed that she took the liberty to go to bed on her own. I am just amazed that my two year old would do that.

80's Hair Band

...That is what I thought of when Camille woke up yesterday. Check out her sweet bed head.

I love the fish face.
I had Camille look in the mirror to see her crazy hair. She laughed too. I don't know how she ends up with the bed head that she does sometimes, but it always amazes me. The rest of her hair was laying flat and pretty smooth.

Snow Day

We got a ton of snow here on Sunday. It snowed all day and night...so much that Mike had the morning off from work. I took Camille out to play in the snow.

This was right before we went outside. She was fake laughing, not yelling.

Happily trudging through the snow.

The wind was blowing, so I zipped her up completely.

Camille wasn't bothered by the wind at all and probably would have stayed outside all day if I let her. But I didn't because I was freezing. It was fun to see how excited she was to play in the snow though.

Cute Quotes from Camille

Lately Camille has been telling us that she wants a baby in her tummy. Here are a couple of the conversations I have had with her about it.

Camille: Mommy, may I please have a baby in my tummy?
Me: Not until you are married.
Camille: Ok. I will just go to the temple, and I will bring my Dorothy dress.

(I'm so glad Camille already knows that she should get married in the temple. As for the Dorothy dress, Camille sees our wedding pictures and thinks I was wearing a princess dress. She was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz for Halloween, and she thinks that Dorothy is a princess...she wears a dress and sparkly shoes.)

Camille: Can I have a baby in my tummy?
Me: No, you aren't married. Babies need a mommy and a daddy.
Camille: I will be the mommy.
Me: Who will be the daddy?
Camille: Umm...umm...grandma!

I love that Camille makes us laugh everyday. She is so much fun, and we love her so much. I can't wait to see her as a big sister since she loves babies.
