I just had the cutest conversation with Camille. I just had to copy it down so I wouldn't forget. Enjoy!

Camille: Happy birthday Mommy!

Me: It's not my birthday. My birthday is in May.

Camille: My birthday's in Kansas City!

Me: (laughing) Your birthday is in July.

Camille: Where's July?

Me: July is in the summer, when it gets hot.

Camille: Can we go to the summer?

Me: Summer isn't a place. We can't go there. We have to wait for it to come.

Don't you just love the way toddlers think? I just think Camille is so cute. And I agree with her...can't we just go to summer? I don't like that it's cold already.

Making Muffins with Mommy

Two weeks ago Camille and I made muffins together. I actually bought a mix so she could pretty much do it all herself, and she loved it! Here is my two year-old chef.

Smile for mom.

Dump in the mix.

Dump in eggs and milk.

Stir, stir, stir.

Camille actually stirred it all by herself until it was completely mixed. I was impressed.
